I love the composition and the colors. The warm mood is good but It looks a bit like a warm filter has been slapped on top. Some cool blues wouldn't hurt. I made some super quick adjustments: https://imgur.com/a/q7pc8

Im not a fan of adjusting a piece that is already done for me, so I will try to keep in mind your words next time :)

Nice image with lots of details. love it. I have some problems with it though. First, it feels a bit flat. Maybe it's the colours? If you know about colour theory you would know that orange/yellow is a complementary colour to the lilac/blue violet that you are using in you'r piece. I can see some orange in those metal thingies in the headpiece, but it's not really orange at all. It's just greys in between red and pink. So the image ends up feeling a bit... monotone? I don't know man... i'm not that good at this stuff myself so maybe i shouldn't try to give advice. And maybe a monotone look was what you were after.

Anyways, those galaxy marble things are pretty cool man, but i think you could have put a bit more detail on those. I did a quick paintover... i could post the link if you're interested.

It's still an epic piece, peace.

lol thanks. Ya color is my weakest point, and I tend to over saturate a lot, so I was really trying to keep the color controlled on this one, and convey a soft lighting. Thanks for the tips though, cause i need them, I suck at the color crap! lol ;D

It's definitely interesting. I would like to see some colours though. You wrote that you were afraid of ruining the picture by shading... don't be. It's so much more rewarding to experiment. Let your creativity loose. Why not splash some watercolours on it, bombard it with crayons and/or spray some ketchup on it ( I have never used food on my pictures, honest.) You will create some freaky pictures... but the bottom line is = Don't be afraid of ruining a picture by experimenting. By experimenting you will find out what you like doing. Go crazy n' stuff. Yeah man. That is all.

Experimentation is good, anyway I actually went back and shaded it, it adds a bit more depth I personally think it needed, I might actually make a post regarding it. And about the coloring, I've never actually been very good at coloring, that's something I must work on.

I dig this one. The lighting is pretty nice. If you had done some studies of sunsets, rocks n trees etc beforehand, i guess you could have pushed it a bit further. Still, good image.

Thank you for the honesty! I do plan on doing more studies of that in the future. After I do that, I'll probably come back and touch this one up at some point down the line.
